James
"Jungle Jim" Grainger was born in Sacramento, California.
He served in the US Army as Staff Sergeant (E-6), from 1966 to 1969 in the A
Company, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry, 101st Airborne Division. He has retired
and recently met the "love of his life", and is now married to Kathryn Grainger.
He enjoys volunteering for various organizations in the Tucson area. He is also
starting a Tucson Arizona chapter of "Pointman Ministries" an organization dedicated
to the healing of veterans. He is currently recruiting new guys to take on the
run and pass on what was given to him
